With Asset Transfer Services, mutual fund companies and distributors can complete all the steps necessary to transfer an investor’s mutual fund shares in an automated, centralized and standardized fashion.

To provide more efficient methods for distributors and mutual fund companies to facilitate the transfer of customer accounts, Mutual Fund Services offers two Asset Transfer Services:

• The  ACATS-Fund/SERV Interface  allows full service broker/dealers and banks to transfer and re-register mutual fund shares in an automated, centralized environment.
  
  
• Transfer of Retirement Assets (ToRA) enables mutual fund companies to initiate, acknowledge, confirm and settle the transfer of mutual fund shares held in Individual Retirement Accounts.
